Privacy policy

version 1.2 revised 14 February 2026

1. Who is responsible for this site

basetfi.com is a personal project maintained by Danilo Salvioni, V.le V. Emanuele II 20, 24121 Bergamo BG, Italy. You can reach the maintainer at [email protected] or (943) 234-7384. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the maintainer is the data controller.

2. What we collect

basetfi.com is a static website. There are no accounts, no comment systems and no analytics running by default. The data we process falls into three small groups:

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to keep the server secure and diagnose faults. These logs rotate automatically.
  • Cookie preference. A single first-party cookie remembers your cookie choices for 180 days. Details are in the cookie policy.
  • Email you send us. If you write to us — including through the contact forms, which open your own email app — we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message.

3. How we use it

Server logs are used to operate and secure the site. Your cookie preference is used only to honour that preference. Emails are used to answer you and, where relevant, to update the index. We do not build profiles, run advertising audiences, or share your details with data brokers.

We process server logs under our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Optional cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Emails are processed to respond to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

5. Who receives data

Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Email is handled by our email provider. Beyond that, no personal data is shared with third parties unless the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

Server logs rotate within weeks. The consent cookie expires after 180 days. Email correspondence is kept as long as the conversation is active and is cleared out periodically.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and bump the version number at the top. The revision date tells you when the text last changed.
